The RAPTC Association is a registered charity and all donations to the Association must be used for the good and benefit of the Association members.
The Association office is often requested to donate to other charities (either by members taking part in or organising the event) but as the money donated to the Association must be used for the good and benefit of its members it would be wrong of the Association Executive Committee to endorse donations to other charities.
However, the Trustees are content to advertise these charity events with their ‘Just Giving details on the Association Website. This will enable individual Association members (if they wish) to donate to that particular charity event.
It is worth noting that any Association member organising or taking part in charity events to raise money should consider their own charity, which is ‘The RAPTC Association’.
